Dr. Farhad Ravandi is the Dallas/Fort Worth Living Legend Chair for Cancer Research III, Professor of Medicine and Chief of Section of Acute Myeloid Leukemia in the Department of Leukemia at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. He graduated from the University of London, England and undertook residency and fellowship training at the Baylor College of Medicine and The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. During this time he specialized in the management of hematological malignancies and stem cell transplantation. He then joined the University of Illinois at Chicago as the director of leukemia program and the interim director of stem cell transplant program for three years until he joined the Leukemia department of MD Anderson in 2003.
