Research interest
spans across vaccine trials, health systems strengthening for lung health and TB (with special focus on childhood TB), quality improvement in maternal and newborn health, and health workforce capacity strengthening interventions. Uzoh is a vocal advocate for equity in research and enthusiastic about eliminating inequalities across the society. As Chair of the Race Equity Action Committee, he leads Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine’s anti-racism initiative and actively participates in other citizenship activities including membership of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee and the BAME network. He is an active mentor in a collaborative mentorship programme for undergraduate students in STEMM disciplines from minority ethnic backgrounds. Research interests Uzoh’s research interests
