Jordi Rello is the Professor of Medicine at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and Chief of the Critical Care Department at the Vall d'Hebron University Hospital in Barcelona, Spain; Director of Research Node 18 in the Spanish Excellence Network of Research CIBERES and the Director of the Clinical Research & Innovation in Pneumonia and Sepsis (CRISP) Group at Vall d'Hebron Research Institute. Professor Rello is past Chair of the European Study Group for Infections in Critically Ill Patients and currently responsible for education.
